The world of walking floor trailers

At Gregory Group we have many different pieces of equipment that make the jobs our team carry out that little bit easier. Our walking floor trailers are a perfect example of this. The trailer does exactly what it says on the tin; the floor “walks” which means the contents of the trailer get pushed out.

A day in the life of Steve Jones, one of our Training Business Partners

Steve Jones is one of 20 Training Business Partners located across Gregory Group. Typically, Steve supports our teams in Southampton, Evercreech, Milton Keynes and Bristol but he may go further afield should his skills be required elsewhere. We spoke to Steve on his 4-year anniversary to find out a bit more about what his role entails and what his journey to Gregory Group looked like.

Fleet focus from our Fleet Director

Paul Jefferson is our Group Legal, Fleet & Sustainability Director. Every day he makes decisions that help our business evolve and grow, and fleet is a large part of those decisions. Bringing electric transportation to the forefront

Anthony Humble-Smith, our Group Sustainability Lead recently attended the EV Summit which brought together business leaders and key players who are exploring how we advance e-mobility in the UK. What does the future of transport look like?

The road transport industry has come a long way. If you just look at our vehicles, in just over 100 years we’ve gone from a Ford Model T Ton truck with 22.5bhp, to a Scania S450 with 450bhp! The two trucks are unrecognisable from one another. In these 100 years we have seen huge technological advances and constantly evolving legislation to keep us all protected. But we are on the brink of an even bigger evolution – one in which we see our carbon intensive fleets convert into net-zero fleets.

What does an Agriculture & Compliance Supervisor do?
