We are delighted to be able to provide our customers with independently verified carbon savings declarations.
Gregory Group is the first transport operator to gain approval under the new RFAS Fleet Scheme which has been launched by Zemo Partnership.
This is the first scheme of its kind tailored specifically for commercial fleets, enabling us to verify the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission savings our renewable fuel vehicles have achieved for each customer. The scheme also enables us to confirm the origin of raw material feedstocks. This is particularly valuable for customers using HVO because it provides complete peace of mind that the HVO we purchase comes from renewable sources.
Providing complete transparency, this verification scheme is a significant step forward in climate accountability. The scheme covers both direct fuel use and virtual allocation through a strong chain of custody giving our customers a complete picture of their carbon savings.
Paul Jefferson, Group Legal, Risk & Sustainability Director at Gregory Group, expressed his pride in being the first company approved under RFAS Fleet:
“We are proud to be the first operator to be approved under the RFAS Fleet scheme. Being able to evidence the integrity of our carbon reporting and provide reassurance of the source of the low carbon fuels we use is another step forward as we support our customers with their sustainability journeys.
“Reaching this point is a testament to the great work of our people and further demonstrates our commitment to being a leader in the decarbonisation of UK logistics.”
